1 - The ON-OFF Switch is optional, as is the Pulse
output.
2 - When both led's are flashing your 555 is most likely in good shape; if one or both are
not flashing, not lit, or are on solid, the 555 is defective. Throw it out!
3 - The flashrate can be adjusted by using a different value for C2.
